Artist Management

Development

  • We will guide the artist through a combination of music material management and image coaching, growing the ‘Brand’ of the artist to the point where we could successfully present him/her/them using our PR department.
  • We will set a physical and digital foundation for promotion, including building the Artist a custom website, CD/poster/logo design and print, and setting up various social media outlets
  • Pairing the artist with other musicians if necessary for recording or performance

Marketing & Promotion

  • Our PR department will promote the Artist through a variety of Digital, Physical, and Internet marketing:
    • Digital:
      • Radio placement and interviews, Television appearances and synch licenses utilizing our Publishing
    • Physical:
      • Creating Logos and Images for posters, flyers, CD prints, with distribution of said promotional materials
      • Pitching to various industry individuals using the best promotional tool of all, Word Of Mouth
    • Internet:
      • Promotion on well-known blogs and other high-traffic websites
      • Our PR dept. will run and coordinate the social media outlets, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Tumblr, etc.

SHAPESHIFTER LAB

Video Shoots

ShapeShifter Lab lives up to its name, possessing the ability to transform itself into anything that a video shoot would require.  A very unique industrial Brooklyn space, almost 4,000 square feet with a stage area, exposed brick walls and a wide variety of lights and lighting options.  Clients are free to bring anything they need, and the space will provide various equipment options for functionality and aesthetics, with technicians on hand.

Live Rehearsal and Production Room

  •  ShapeShifter Lab is also available for rehearsal space for bands, dance companies, visual artists, etc.
  • Our recording facility is fully functional and available for Live recording and mixing

Residency

ShapeShifter Lab holds residencies of all genres, and Artists are invited to apply for residency

Private Events

ShapeShifter Lab is available for private event booking through ShapeShifter Productions.  These may range from Musical Performances, Film Screenings, DJ’d Gatherings etc.  Our full bar and café and its staff will be available in the package.

Education

ShapeShifter believes in the passing of knowledge from generation to generation, so with that in mind we have a system of Master Classes and Clinics taught by the prestigious musicians that come through our space, from Funk to Folk, Pop to Rock, Jazz to Electronic and many more.
